The Role

The contract Proposal Manager will support Grand Rounds Health’s Proposal Management Team in the timely creation of proposals in response to RFx that span our product suite. Proposals are crafted using a central repository of approved content, but selecting the right response and successfully completing proposals requires a base understanding of our products and the markets in which we operate, as well as excellent writing, communication, and project management skills. This function will support our full-time Proposal Managers by preparing the first draft of responses to standard / common questions, participating in kick-off and strategy calls with the Sales Director and Solution Consultant involved in the opportunity, and possibly playing a role in uploading responses onto various online submission platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Project management of the RFP life cycle for multiple proposals at the same time
• Drafting responses to RFP questionnaires
• Uploading content into RFP questionnaire submission tools, as needed 
• Working with Sales and Solutions Consultants to tailor content to the specific opportunity
• Updating the database with net new content that’s been approved for use after being created for a specific proposals
• Supporting various content refresh activities with SMEs across the business

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience writing and responding to RFPs, ideally in the healthcare sector
• Working knowledge of health & benefits programs for employer sponsored healthcare
• 1-5 years experience writing and tailoring content for an HR buyer 
• Ability to juggle multiple timelines and commitments 
• Strong project management skills and overall organizational excellence
• Track record of meeting deadlines and communicating status to stakeholders involved in the project

We are looking for someone to support 20 hours a week, 5 days a week.
