About the role:

The Provider Relations Associate manages the day-to-day operations between our world-class patient care team and the external network of providers that cares for our members. They serve as the operational face of Included Health to providers and administrative staff, and help facilitate seamless handoffs so that patients receive appropriate, coordinated, and compassionate care.


Responsibilities:

  • Resolve escalations between our external provider network and internal care team, working cross functionally as needed to creatively problem solve issues
  • Implement workflows that establish how our care team partners with external providers to care for patients across all of Included Health’s service lines
  • Recommend, create, and implement process improvements to continuously improve performance
  • Lead operational meetings with provider partners to improve processes, review performance metrics, and resolve open escalations
  • Support marketing and outreach efforts to providers on how to partner with Included Health
  • Manage provider data accuracy to facilitate high quality provider-patient matching
  • Balance the needs of external providers and internal teams in a way that is always member centric
  • Model a culture reflective of our core company values

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of relevant prior work experience in program management, project management, operations, or account management, preferably in healthcare
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong data and analytic skills, including proficiency with Excel, the Google Docs Editors suite of products (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc.), and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, or equivalent)
  • A passion for process creation and improvement
  • Ability to create and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners
  • Creative problem solving skills rooted in deep understanding of products and processes
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
  • Demonstrated success in meeting goals in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to support our West Coast business partners by committing to PST working hours
