Overview

Tonal Showrooms blend high-touch retail, community outreach, and direct/assisted sales. As Tonal expands its retail footprint through both owned retail and partnership locations, we're seeking an experienced Retail Operations Manager to scale our processes, lead our retail fleet, and establish new, streamlined, cost-effective strategies. As the voice for the store and customer experience, you’ll bring your unique perspective to new campaigns and marketing strategies. Reporting to the Director of Retail, you’ll help our new locations ramp up as our presence expands nationally. 

In this role, you will work closely with our in-store retail showroom teams, cross-functional partners and Tonal leadership across Marketing, Design, Customer Support, Product, and Human Resources. As the leader for the retail field, you’ll help manage goal-setting, business tracking, and identify/coach opportunities for improvement. In addition, you will keep stores inspired by Tonal’s benefits and customer success stories.

What You Will Do

• Lead retail fleet and inspire teams with the life-changing benefits of Tonal
• Scale and evaluate new processes and procedures for day-to-day retail activities
• Monitor showroom business goals and design programs to drive conversion and showroom profitability
• Work with cross-functional business partners across multiple projects to represent our store employees and customer experience
• Prioritize and drive updates to product and experience required to consistently improve on our customer journey
• Provide support for new market expansion plan and new store opening processes
• Collaborate with customer support team on the overall health of Tonal trainers’ in the retail fleet
• Manage store-level operational budgets with Showroom Managers
• Own new showroom new store opening process; coordinating with cross-functional partners on hiring, training, budgets, and timelines
• Become a resident expert on Retail systems and develop feedback loops for improvement to internal and external partners
• Scale vendor network as the retail fleet grows 

Who You Are

• 5+ years in retail operations, planning, and team management, with corporate retail headquarters experience preferred
• Comfort with ambiguity and smart risk-taking
• You have strong organizational skills and self-motivation, with a keen drive for results
• Customer focus and analytical aptitude for evaluating qualitative and quantitative KPIs
• Salesforce and Google Suite plus experience
• Expert verbal, written and presentation skills
• Expect travel 20% of the time
