About the Job:

Business Operations at KeepTruckin is a highly cross-functional group that is responsible for our go-to-market playbooks and ensuring that we are hitting our growth targets for all our core businesses. These playbooks involve every step of our funnel including who we sell to, how we sell to them, and what we are selling to them. Our Business Operations team is maniacal about and energized by the challenge of getting their hands dirty in any problem across sales, marketing, and customer success, and finding ways to help us scale faster and more efficiently. They are also low-ego and love to collaborate with these other stakeholders to drive alignment and execution. Examples of major challenges Business Operations faces are launching new markets, experimenting with new sales and marketing motions, and recommending areas where we should invest more or less.

Business Operations Senior Managers will be tightly aligned to the growth objectives of critical parts of our business and be responsible for building and rebuilding our go-to-market funnels, motions, and playbooks, and executing on their recommendations in collaboration with the other functional owners like sales, marketing, and customer success. 

Responsibilities:

  • Make and deliver recommendations on key strategic questions and initiatives, even when there is incomplete data or insufficient time to drive an analysis through to conclusion
  • Identify both proactive (forward looking, your own initiatives) and reactive (fulfilling requests from other stakeholders) initiatives, and ensure they are appropriately prioritized and staffed
  • Ensure that even at KeepTruckin’s fast pace, all major stakeholders are equipped with the research and findings required to execute on their major initiatives and quarterly / annual objectives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, product, business operations, and other parts of the business to acquire the right data and context for strategic analysis and new initiative execution
  • Develop a holistic understanding of the various components of KeepTruckin’s business and be able to apply the multidisciplinary thinking to all your analysis and execution

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience, including direct people management experience
  • Experience in high-growth technology companies in go-to-market functions like sales, marketing, customer success, and operations
  • Experience in management or strategy consulting, finance, or other analytically and strategically rigorous fields that require fast ramp-up and strong intuition around businesses
  • Experience working on cross-functional projects with various stakeholders and a demonstrated expertise in managing such projects
  • Strong intuition and ability around working with and drawing conclusions from data, and competency with Excel and other basic analytical tools (SQL experience preferred)
  • Strong Integrated Financial Statement acumen and ability to find most impactful P&L drivers
  • BA/BS/MS and MBA from leading institutions
  • Able to work in ambiguous environments under tight and unpredictable timelines
  • Ability to navigate through large companies and build and nurture relationships with all kinds of leaders and teams
