The Senior Director, Behavioral Health Strategy and Operations will help design and implement Grand Rounds approach to behavioral health management that improves health outcomes for the members that Grand Rounds serves. They will be the clinical leader who drives innovations in ways Grand Rounds can fill the gaps for patients struggling with behavioral and mental health conditions. They will also partner with the Go-To-Market teams to continuously augment the Grand Rounds narrative that highlights clinician expertise, high quality and patient centered care. This role will work with key internal and external stakeholders as well as represent Grand Rounds at conferences and key events. They will also recruit, train and mentor additional GR BH clinicians as well as evaluate various partnerships and collaborations with market leaders in behavioral health. This position will report to the Chief Medical Officer.
Responsibilities
- Be the Behavioral Health expert within Grand Rounds including expertise on: evidence based pathways, market leaders/innovators, role of virtual care and navigation in BH and a SME for quality assessment and evaluation in BH
- Identify and build a team of diverse behavioral health clinicians to support GR members across our products and services
- Work with VP, Clinical Services to develop a scalable model to ensure Behavioral Health needs of our members can be met at scale
- Attend Go-To-Market meetings, conferences, and additional venues as needed to meet GR business objectives.
Requirements
- 10+ years professional experience
- 7+ years professional post-residency/training experience in direct patient care and 5+ years in cross functional team based or leadership role
- 3+ years in Behavioral Health Strategy
- In addition to a clinical degree (MD, PhD, NP), MPH/MBA or similar advanced degree preferred
- Proven ability to communicate clearly verbally and in written form
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, long lasting relationships with a variety of team members
- Ability to work with, interpret and communicate about data and analytics
- Proven success making good, timely decisions in a rapidly changing, sometimes ambiguous environment
This role is a remote position and the candidate can reside anywhere in the United States.
