As Senior Director, Corporate Strategy, you will be responsible for analyzing, planning, and driving strategic insights, initiatives, and investments to help accelerate our growth in digital operations management. You will report to SVP of Strategy and Corporate Development. As part of the Strategy and Corporate Development function, you will play a key role in enabling the company’s rapid growth, strategic expansion, and market leadership with a rigorous, data-driven approach. You provide insights, evaluate opportunities, guide priorities and investments, plan execution, and drive key projects. You will collaborate closely cross-functionally with senior executives and product management, engineering, finance, sales, marketing, etc. to develop strategic alignment and connect strategy to execution across the company.
How You Impact Our Vision
- Review and develop company strategy with the leadership team and define key strategic priorities, objectives, goals, action plans, and measures
- Drive key strategic projects cross-functionally to structure problems, develop hypotheses, conduct analyses to turn data into insights, and drive solutions and actionable recommendations
- Develop opportunities and initiatives to grow the business or enter new markets, across personas, categories, geos, verticals, etc
- Evaluate new and existing strategic investments and growth projects and facilitate prioritization and portfolio reallocation
- Research market opportunities, adjacencies, emerging trends, and industry/competitive landscape, and define strategic implications
- Translate strategy into execution with actionable plans and roadmaps
- Collaborate with senior executives to communicate our strategy internally and externally
- Manage a team of corporate strategy professionals
About You
- MBA (or similar) from a top-tier program (or equivalent work experience) and a prior Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance
- 10+ years total work experience with several years of post-MBA experience with corporate or business strategy, management consulting, product strategy, or other strategic roles at a technology company. Track record of high performance
- Experience in managing strategic initiatives, including framing the problem, conducting research and analysis, synthesizing recommendations, and building actionable business plans and operational plans
- Entrepreneurial self-starter who takes initiative in a fast-paced, innovative high-growth environment
- Experience in managing people, both direct reports and virtual teams
- Software / SaaS industry domain experience, ideally with exposure to DevOps, IT Ops, or infrastructure software
- Effective at building relationships, collaborating, and influencing others; experience working with senior executives and cross-functional teams
- Strong communicator, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing; comfort in both business and technical discussions
