Job Description:

Reporting to the AVP, Innovation Business Operations, the Director, Business Operations will work closely with the senior leadership team within Innovation (Engineering, Product, and Operations), to conduct full operational review, enable proper resources to the company’s strategic R&D initiatives, drive proportional organizational growth and efficiency. This role will provide the opportunity to join a team of high performers who have experience working for big 4 consulting firms and leading SaaS companies.

Responsibilities:

• Drive quarterly efficiency and automation initiatives across all R&D

• Drive short- and long-term infrastructure growth, migration strategy and spend forecast

• Build strategic reports and present scenario models for efficient allocation of resources to projects/products to senior leadership for annual operational planning

• Drive and own reporting of all engineering efficiency projects monthly across all global teams

• Conduct engineering operational and performance review, analyze and report on R&D resource allocation across all global locations

• Fulfill ad-hoc analytical requests as needed

• Drive an end to end outcome focused planning process with a clear set of goals that aligns to company priorities; establish, track and monitor KPIs and reporting

• Build and implement product backlog intake process, prioritization framework for release planning, establish stakeholder communication, institute effective trade-off processes and gain cross functional alignment

• Re-define how we work, reducing dependencies, revamping release planning, tooling and resourcing strategy

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Strategy and Operations from a top-tier US educational institution

• 5+ years in software development organization, experience with SaaS is desired

• Experience in Program Management/Project Management driving operational excellence, owning and maintaining data and KPI reporting

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel (pivots, lookups, data analysis tool packs etc.), PowerPoint, building financial and decision support models, reports and executive presentations

• Experience with Project Management tools, Visualization tools like Tableau, intelligent data storage like Airtable is a plus

• Experience in driving efficiency strategy, cost optimization and process improvement

• Understanding of how Product Development works, experience conducting quantitative and qualitative business review

• Ability to drive successful partnerships with cross-functional teams to improve existing business processes, execute strategic initiatives, and develop project roadmaps

• Effective communication skills at multiple levels of the organization, including Executive Management, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, initiative and integrity

• Knowledge and Certifications in Agile methodologies preferred
