About this role

Faire is revolutionizing wholesale and helping local retailers and their suppliers succeed in a technology-enabled era. As the first member of our Equity team, you will play an integral role in laying the foundation of equity for a multi-billion dollar company. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and data-driven environment.

What you’ll do 

  • Manage the Company’s equity-based program
  • Work closely with Finance, Accounting, Payroll, Legal, and People teams to ensure all equity transactions are processed and appropriate tax and regulatory filings are accurate and timely 
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns related to equity 
  • Process, manage and track new grant issuance, shares outstanding, and the overall share pool
  • Perform month end closing procedures and assist with public reporting according to US GAAP and assist with external audits
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation of records between equity database and general ledger
  • Develop and deliver equity-related education materials and other employee communications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Law or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in stock administration. CEP certification highly preferred
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal partners
  • Deep knowledge of global equity comprehensive understanding of legal and tax compliance requirements in US, Canada, UK, Netherlands, and Brazil
  • Experience scaling equity at fast growing company in both private and public sector
  • Strong analytical skills; experience with Carta or equivalent preferred
  • A team player and commitment to deliver outstanding results while having a fun time with your teammates doing it!
  • You are resourceful and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
