Scoop’s engineering team may move bits and pixels, but we also put real, live human beings in cars together. We’re touching problems academics have written about for years, and have data that no other company has ever collected.

But Scoop knows engineering is not a lone discipline. We’re a small team with varied backgrounds: big companies, VC-backed startups, bootcamps, academia. We like to build together, and we like to learn together. Our entire team and process are built around helping you grow and be successful. In this role, you will:

• Research and deploy new technologies that improve IT operations and the productivity of everyone at Scoop.
• Create and improve IT procedures for our various systems and services including onboarding, offboarding, and automating where possible.
• Keep our Mac fleet and 3rd-party services running and scalable as we grow with an attention to detail and a security minded approach.
• Provide technical support for issues escalated from users.
• Create design and support documentation for all deployed services.
• Provide IT consulting for software and services.
• Anticipate IT needs for the organization and proactively communicate them.
• Work with our People Ops and Facilities team to open new offices.

You should:

• Have strong knowledge of G Suite, productivity software, video conferencing solutions, IdM solutions, and more.
• Be able to define inefficiencies in existing tooling and software and work to resolve them.
• Have proven experience with macOS system administration and scaling for growth.
• Love automating all things and streamlining business functions.

You also:

• Have excellent communication and organizational skills and care about delivering awesome support to all users.
• May have experience managing IT projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Have the ability to multitask in a challenging and fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Are comfortable with ambiguity and balancing multiple priorities.
