Senior Manager, Insights
About the role
As Senior Manager of Insights at Chime, you will use your expertise in marketing research methodologies to drive actionable strategies, ultimately increasing brand awareness and adoption of Chime across the United States. Your orientation toward strategic thinking, exceptional communication, and deep empathy for our Members will serve a diverse community of all socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds. As a leader and driver of marketing insights you will directly influence our company roadmap, making Chime a household name in financial services.
This job cannot be performed in the state of Colorado.
In this role, you can expect to
- Design and execute innovative quantitative and qualitative research to support the marketing organization and the Chime business at large
- Represent the consumer in strategic brand discussions - you will build an understanding of our brand, inform the development of product-level or company-level narratives, and answer urgent executive-level questions impacting the business
- Lead and/or partner with analytics on segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and engagement strategies
- Identify core human truths to influence executional strategy, goals and metrics to ensure line-of-sight to success
- Translate data insights into actions and recommendations. Core focus will be on marketing and communications strategy and plans, at both a brand and product level.
To thrive in this role, you have
- Proficient with modern research tools such as online survey platforms, online discussion boards, data visualization software, and social-listening platforms
- Experience with cultural, lifestyle and/or fintech consumer brands is strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication skills, you can communicate clearly and effectively across all channels with executive stakeholders and the broader organization
- Ability to own qualitative and quantitative research from strategy to campaign launch
- Expertise with G-suite and can make crisp, simple slides and standardized communications across spreadsheets, documents and emails
- 10+ years experience working with brand insights
- Experience building and managing teams of 2-4 people
