RingCentral is seeking a seasoned Risk & Compliance professional to enhance and manage cross-functional IT risk management. This role reports into the VP of IT Infrastructure & Operations but oversees IT Risk Management & compliance for the CIO organization. The ITRMC leader will directly and indirectly supervise supporting team members by providing direction, feedback, strategy, and growth opportunities which elevate the company’s position and risk resilience.
They will also lead Infrastructure & Operations projects enabling transformation, growth, maturity and scale. This leader will work cross-functionally with business partners and IT leaders to deliver solutions. A successful candidate will have proven experience operating in high-pressure situations, excellent organization skills, an ability to handle competing priorities and a high level of planning discipline. The role will chair monthly IT Risk Governance meetings with IT leadership, Internal Audit, and Information Security.
Lead the identification and mitigation of corporate IT risks
Manage IT compliance with customer, partner and government requirements
Interlock with Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, Legal, Privacy, and Information Security
Drive the prioritization of business requirements and maintain a roadmap
Partner with other compliance leaders and IT general control (ITGC) owners to provide timely and complete audit evidence
Lead IT business impact analyses (BIA) and business continuity planning (BCP)
Evangelize automation of controls and be an expert in governance systems
Implement processes and systems to improve business efficiency
Innovate risk sources to minimize leadership blind spots
Cultivate peer relationships at leading companies to benchmark and share practices
Become a trusted partner to business leaders
Differentiate strategic and tactical issues while balancing resource allocation
Drive results; lead a portfolio of projects, achieve desired outcomes
Improve functional process flows, runbooks, and communicate changes proactively
Document weekly PPP reports (progress, plans, and problems)
Document decisions and meeting notes
Vigorously drive accountability and transparency
Use data to drive decisions and KPIs to demonstrate performance
Minimum 5 years in IT
Minimum 2 years in an IT Risk Management leadership role
Minimum 3 years in an IT compliance leadership role
Minimum 2 years of direct people management
Adept with SAI360 or other ITRM systems
Holds certifications in security, privacy, or other related areas
Experience as an IT auditor or large accounting firm consultant
Experience with IT Infrastructure systems management or development
Proven experience in managing people
Excellent communication, problem solving, conflict / resolution management, active listening, time management, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work and drive results independently
Ability to learn and adapt quickly
Vibrant and energetic attitude, willingness to perform and get results
