OVERVIEW
Instacart’s mission is to create a world where everyone has access to the food they love and more time to enjoy it together. To achieve this mission, we partner very closely with 600+ retailer partners on many initiatives so that they can achieve their core objectives. As part of these initiatives, we are developing a number of innovative solutions to order fulfillment to support our retail partners in continuing to raise the bar on customer experience, quality, and efficiency.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Drive the internal vision for strategic initiatives with significant impact on our retail partnerships, working with cross-functional stakeholders across a number of functions including BD, Product, Finance, Legal, and Partnerships.
- Advance Instacart’s Next-Generation Fulfillment strategy in close collaboration with our retail partners.
- Work with retailers to launch the next generation of same-day ecommerce fulfillment solutions.
- Develop go-to-market strategy for these solutions, build partner-facing communications, lead retailer sessions to drive progress, and coordinate commercial partnership discussions.
ABOUT YOU
- 7-10 years experience working on cutting-edge challenges in the grocery or retail space, with a focus on supply chain and eCommerce
- Ability to bring conceptual and analytical skills to bear on challenging problems in uncharted territory
- A self-starter who is able to proactively and independently drive progress across multiple stakeholder groups
- Passion for building new partnerships with our retailers and the ability to lead complex commercial discussions
- Skilled at distilling complex ideas into clear and compelling stories
- Comfortable with quantitative and data-driven analysis
- Strong drive to own and execute strategic growth initiatives
