The Role

The Sr Manager Public Benefit Corporation Engagement and Corporate Sustainability will have the opportunity to drive Veeva’s leadership as the largest Public Benefit Corporation. The position will work closely with senior management and the board of directors to track and report Veeva’s performance in support of its public benefit statement and manage the company’s ESG programs. This role will oversee Veeva’s PBC reporting process, including identifying metrics and goals that aligned with the company public benefit statement and developing processes that will drive the achievement of these goals.

What You’ll Do

• Develop company performance targets and reporting processes that align with Veeva’s public benefit statement
• Oversee publication of the annual PBC report
• Lead interactions with investors, analysts, media, customers, ESG contacts, and other corporate contacts regarding Veeva’s PBC leadership and ESG activities 
• Track and report on trends, developments, and thought leadership on ESG / sustainability
• Manage Veeva’s ESG ratings under various evaluation standards (e.g., MSCI, Ecovadis, etc.) and advise Veeva leadership on company position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years work experience in marketing, public relations, investor relations, or communications
• Strong writing skills
• Deep knowledge in ESG initiatives and corporate social responsibility
• Ability to effectively communicate with management and external stakeholders including investors and board members

Nice to Have

• 8+ years relevant work experience
• Investor relations work experience
• Deep financial acumen
• Knowledge of the life sciences and/or software industries
• Understanding of major ESG evaluation bodies and standards
