The opportunity

Come join our Unity Tools and Service team! We are passionate about building and delivering the next-generation CI/CD solutions for the Unity engine.

Mentor a team of developers as they design, build, and deploy services related to the CI/CD automation pipeline, specifically for storage, distribution and associated client technologies. You will play a key role in designing technical solutions that focus on system performance and reliability at scale!

What you’ll be doing

• Lead and mentor engineers, providing feedback and guidance as they implement standard methodology solutions.
• Work closely with product managers to ensure our products provide a consistently phenomenal experience which meets our customers needs.
• Coordinate with TPM's to provide clear communication regarding tasking and work you're doing
• Establish engineering standard methodologies that allow the team to achieve assigned projects and goals.
• Operate within a distributed team, collaborating with colleagues around the world.

What we’re looking for

• Significant technical experience leading engineers through all phases of development.
• Experience mentoring engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective
• Experience with CI/CD, this might include: storage, caching, and distribution of digital assets paying particular attention to speed and egress costs.
• Proven experience in crafting technical solutions at scale

You might also have

• Proven understanding of the Unity game engine or game experience
• DevOps experience or experience working closely with DevOps
• Experience with our stack (Node.js, Golang, Postgres, C#, GCP, Kubernetes) is helpful
• Passion for creative, intuitive workflows to tackle sophisticated problems
