Overview

As our Senior Operations & Inventory Control Specialist you will play a key role in managing and supporting Tonal’s inventory control and material movement in the Operations organization. The responsibilities include tracking and reporting product inventory at all Tonal warehouse and shipping locations, ensuring accurate updates in inventory data at 3PL and Tonal systems, and assisting in the inventory cycle counts and accounting audits.

What You Will Do

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain inventory records and update inventory transaction for outbound shipments
  • Perform inventory receiving in system at various stages of inbound movements 
  • Work with 3PL warehouses to ensure accuracy of inventory data in system and in records
  • Maintain inventory dashboard and create reports as required
  • Collaborate with other operations team members to continue improvements related to material flows, logistics operations, and documentation

Warehouse Operations, Cost and Audit:

  • Conduct cycle counts and audits to ensure the integrity of inventory 
  • Conduct data audits as needed, perform inventory and shipping cost analysis 
  • Participate in system integration projects as an ongoing effort to improve operations efficiency 
  • Ensure rotation of inventory, compliance of inventory control guidelines, and support obsolesces management and EOL implementation
  • Support warehouse operations control and 3PL management as needed

Who You Are

  • At least 5 years working in a manufacturing industry (tech or electrical manufacturing preferred) with responsibilities in the inventory control and supply chain management areas and a minimum of 8 years total work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Experience in inventory planning and management, shipping and receiving, and working with suppliers or service providers
  • Proficient with Excel, intensive user experience in ERP, MRP, or any warehouse/inventory database management system
  • Possess good communication and analytical skills; willing to work with other team members and logistics partners to resolve problems
