We are looking for an experienced system engineer to join the IT Engineering team automating identity and access management and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools. A successful candidate will have demonstrated previous success in similar role(s) in rapidly growing, security-first, environments. The right person is passionate about automation, scripting, and building infrastructure as code. 

You will be a stakeholder in the design, implementation and management of our growing corporate systems and networks. You will have a passion for innovation and creative problem solving, as well as be adaptable to the ever-changing landscape of the corporate infrastructure environment. You will need to be a highly motivated, dependable and an experienced system engineer who shares our passion and wants to be a part of a fast moving and highly execution oriented team.

You will work closely with your IT peers and key stakeholder teams, including, but not limited to, Security, Compliance, Product, Engineering and HR. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and fast learner who is looking for a supportive environment to continue to grow their IT skills and expertise. This role will report to the Director of IT.

What you'll do:

• Partner across the organization and the business to identify, evaluate, and resolve issues related to IT systems and integrations
• Own and manage business critical systems and SaaS applications. This includes apps such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf, Jira, Confluence, Azure AD, Intune, AWS, and much more
• Identify and resolve inefficiencies in workflow and manual process through automation
• Implement technical and process improvements to support a security-first environment
• Generate and maintain internal and external documentation around process and workflows
• Contribute to the development of operational metrics and help measure success across the team
• Partner with the security team to implement security policies and ensure all critical vulnerabilities are patched in a timely manner
• Partner with compliance teams to support governance, risk, and compliance efforts across the IT organization
• Train and mentor members of IT support team and help with service desk requests as an escalation point

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of relevant work experience
• Hands-on enterprise development expertise with SaaS applications & integrating these services with corporate systems
• Deep experience building, iterating-on, and supporting complex integrations and automations for SaaS tooling at scale via API/SDK usage
• Experience developing secure solutions in partnership with security engineering stakeholders
• Experience implementing privileged access management solutions
• An openness to feedback & transparency, and a desire for authentic work relationships

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of SSH, keystores, security certificates, user and password management, Single-Sign-On integration, and authorization tokens
• Scripting skills - Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Bash/Zsh, or Terraform
