Sr. Manager, Retail Partnership Enablement
OVERVIEW
Our Business Development Retail group is rapidly growing and as such we are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Learning & Development Program. This is a key high-impact role that will be responsible for owning and executing the skill development for a distributed team across the United States & Canada. This role is part of a broader Business Development Enablement group.
The successful candidate will work with executives, team managers and team members to create and deploy a framework that supports but is not limited to,
- Onboarding: creating content and delivery mechanisms for new hires
- Skill assessment: developing a means for identifying strengths and development opportunities
- Skill development: creating, curating and deploying content and programs to support on-the-job skill development for multiple levels of the organization
- Building and measuring progress: establishing clear organizational goals, action plans, and means to measure and track progress for individuals and teams alike
ABOUT THE JOB
- Collaborating with directors/managers sales, and account managers to identify learning gaps and design holistic and comprehensive training solutions
- Leading and facilitating group training sessions and/or onboarding sessions
- Maintaining a calendar of training programs by partnering with internal BD functions ( Insights, Operations, Systems and Programs) as well as other departments such as Product, Marketing and Legal
- Consulting with BD Enablement group to source and deliver Sales and Account Management-facing content such as handbooks, playbooks, wikis, process overviews, ROE (rules of engagement) type docs, etc
- Developing and executing programming for a mentorship program
ABOUT YOU
- 5-7+ years experience building L&D programs from ground-up, ideally in a high-growth environment such as e-commerce or technology
- Excellent written communication skills - able to create concise and comprehensive material
- Confident and highly-capable verbal communicator - experience conducting live group training sessions using a variety of tools and systems in virtual settings
- Strong project management and relationship building skills - able to work with a broad range of internal stakeholders spanning different departments
- Prior front-line sales or account management experience is a plus but not required
