The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated individual to be a leader in Grand Round’s Corporate Development and Strategy function. Working in partnership with cross-functional partners and stakeholders, this role will have three main functions: corporate development, corporate strategy and investor relations. The corporate development function will involve aiding in the strategy, research, analysis, and execution of M&A and partnership transactions. The corporate development function will also include capital raising efforts when they arise. The corporate strategy function will entail research, analysis and construction of the Company’s corporate strategy as well as special projects for the CEO and CFO. The investor relations function will involve research, analysis and development of investor presentations for the external investor community.

This individual will have strong technical skills, transaction execution experience and a proven ability to analyze complex problems. The individual will be given autonomy and should be able to operate with minimal supervision at times. They will also work closely with the VP of Corporate Development and Strategy to engage in incubation and innovation ideas, helping to identify market opportunities, positioning, and success metrics. This is a highly influential role across the org and requires someone with a true passion for healthcare, technology, understanding of our core products and appreciation of our mission. This role will report directly to the VP of Corporate Development and Strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Experience operating in a healthcare or digital healthcare environment
  • Experience at a top-tier private equity firm, investment bank, management consulting firm or an equivalent corporate development group
  • 8 years of total professional experience with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Experience executing M&A, partnerships or private equity transactions
  • Strong financial modeling and analysis skills
  • Proven ability to build business cases supporting thesis with numerical and qualitative analysis
  • Highly motivated, high impact, self-starter, who can thrive in a high performance, results-driven environment
  • Excellent quantitative, written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong technical and market knowledge across healthcare
  • MBA preferred
