Who We Are:

KeepTruckin is on a mission to modernize the trucking industry. With the leading fleet management platform, we are bringing trucks online and fundamentally changing the way freight is moved on our roads.

We see our hard work rewarded in tangible ways every day and we believe that intelligence is most powerful when paired with humility. We’re motivated by the opportunity to impact and improve every facet of a trillion-dollar industry that touches everyone’s lives. KeepTruckin is proud to be a Forbes Cloud 100 company, a 2020 Career-Launching Company by Wealthfront and named a Forbes Best Startup Employer 2020.

About the Role:

Strategic Operations at KeepTruckin is a highly cross-functional group that is responsible for go-to-market strategy and optimization, financing operations, and ensuring that we are hitting our growth targets for all our core businesses.

Activities address every step of our funnel including who we sell to, how we sell to them, how they buy, and what we are selling to them. Our Strategic Operations team is maniacal about and energized by the challenge of getting their hands dirty in any problem across sales, marketing, and customer success, and finding ways to help us scale faster and more efficiently.

They are also low-ego and love to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment and execution. Examples of major challenges Strategic Operations faces are launching new channels and partnerships, experimenting with new sales and marketing motions, and recommending areas where we should invest more or less based on quantitative analysis and qualitative synthesization.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive disciplined launches of initiatives. You’ll liaise between Sales, Marketing, Products, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to launch new products and find opportunities to drive scalability and efficiencies of new programs.
  • Ongoing management and monitoring. You’ll ensure a positive experience for customers, sellers, and partners by using quantitative and qualitative data to find opportunities to streamline or improve operations resulting in key metric improvements.
  • Analyze and optimize. You'll dive deep into our performance across customer segments, verticals, and partner portfolios, to ensure that we are understanding where things are going well and where we have room to improve. You’ll take a hands on approach to translate key takeaways from that work into playbooks implemented across our business and proposals for new initiatives.
  • Cross-functional leader. You'll work with partners across Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, Legal, and Finance teams to test and implement new mechanisms.
  • Build processes to drive continuous improvement. You’ll ensure we have visibility into what tools and products are being deployed, and that we are closely monitoring impact and pivoting as needed. You’ll help ensure we always have insight into the business impact of the changes we are making.
  • Global advocate. Tactical experience gained in continuously optimizing our operations can be translated beyond just a given area or segment. You’ll work closely with partner POCs to share best practices and help ensure we maintain a global perspective in our work.

What We're Looking For:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in consulting, banking, private equity, operations, finance, or strategy; Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
  • Some high-growth operations or startup experience is preferred
  • Exceptional spreadsheet / data management skills, SQL proficiency preferred
  • Intellectual curiosity supported by exceptional analytical skill
  • Advanced communication, presentation, and organization skills
  • Strong, demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Experience working on cross-functional projects with various stakeholders and a demonstrated expertise in managing such projects
  • Able to work in ambiguous environments under tight and unpredictable timelines

Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace is one of KeepTruckin's core values. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome people of different backgrounds, experiences, abilities and perspectives.
