As a Staff IT Business Systems Analyst, you will be a system owner for one or more enterprise systems, cradle to grave, driving the definition, scope and requirements analysis, implementation, deployment and production delivery over its useful life. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders and system users to understand challenges and pain points so they can be addressed to increase system performance and organizational effectiveness. While doing this you will demonstrate strong creativity, problem solving and collaboration skills to resolve challenges during system implementation. At the staff level, you will be expected to lead this across multiple systems over time.
You Will:
- Engage with stakeholders to understand and capture their business process needs and requirements in clear, concise specifications.
- Evaluate competing system offerings, driving selection and design in alignment with the needs and requirements of the business.
- Oversee the development of a system solution, potentially spanning multiple enterprise applications, ensuring successful delivery to scope and intended purpose of the system.
- Define and drive the UAT and system validation strategy including generation of UAT scripts and management of execution supporting initial system go live and subsequent production releases.
- Monitor production system performance against agreed upon service level objectives (SLOs) and support for the business, troubleshoot and resolve issues, oversee the IT support team management of system issues and user requests, capture areas that need improvement or extension, and guide the evolution of the system to improve its overall contribution to the business.
Your Background Should Include:
- Typically a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years’ experience; or equivalent experience.
- Strong finance and procurement system experience with systems such as Coupa, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle.
- Business process experience with processes such as Procure to Pay, Supply Chain Collaboration, Warehouse Management, etc.
- Excellent technical writing skills with experience developing requirements specifications, process workflow definitions and system specifications.
- Strong stakeholder management, engagement, communication and collaboration skills.
- Certifications in specific enterprise systems (Coupa, NetSuite, SAP etc.) and/or industry certifications (ITIL, APICS, PMI PMP, etc.) preferred.
- Experience with specification of data warehouses, data lakes, analytics, dashboarding and KPI reporting preferred.
- Preferred life sciences / Biotech sector experience in a regulated environment GxP, FDA, ISO 13485, etc.
