The Strategic Operations team is scaling the most impactful projects across US and Canada. The team's unique focus on the entire region allows us to dream big and drive outsized change in the areas of marketplace dynamics, automation, sales operations, and strategy. Within Strategic Operations our Courier Operations team is focused on optimizing courier growth, experience, and engagement to help connect merchants and consumers, and provide independent and flexible earning opportunities.
What You'll Do
• Proactively scope and lead multiple projects to help grow our courier pipeline and base; take accountability for project outcomes, ensure delivery on project critical metrics, & keep others informed of progress• Analyze sophisticated data, build models, and aggregate insights to drive key business decisions and policies• Define critical metrics and develop dashboards to track business performance; report findings to senior leadership to define long-term strategy and decision-making• Collaborate and work cross-functionally with other operations teams as well as Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, etc. to ensure insights inform broader critical initiatives• Build a cohesive strategy for programs and solutions to build for our end-to-end ecosystem• Experiment, iterate, and pilot new ideas, features, policies to improve courier experience and engagement
Basic Qualifications
At least 2+ year of professional experience in Operations Management or Strategy
Preferred Qualifications
• 3-4 years of experience in strategy, operations, or related field• Self-starter with an analytical orientation; compassionate and leans in and embraces rolling up your sleeves with your team; skilled at balancing between short-term needs and long-term investments; flourishes with change and comfortable with ambiguity• Bias toward action and constant push for clarity and execution• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as partner management, consensus building, and project management• Exceptional Excel / data management skills• SQL proficiency strongly preferred• Bachelor's degree (preferably in business, economics, math, or other related field)
