About the Role
The Global Strategy & Planning team supports the Delivery Leadership team to define our strategy globally as well as working collaboratively across all functions and markets to assist with identifying areas to improve alignment and execution.
As part of our annual planning process, the leadership team identifies key strategic priorities that we believe are important for our short and long-term success. The Strategic Priorities Lead will work with a small team to ensure that we have the strategy, operating model, governance and alignment across the organization to deliver on these priorities making recommendations for change where necessary.
The nature of the work will vary based on the priority: some will require deep involvement and ownership and others you may only need support with governance and what your team does will depend on what is required to ensure success.
What You'll Do
• Lead a team of associates and collectively, work with leadership to identify and agree on key priorities that require focus in order to achieve our goals• Cultivate positive relationships across the organization, working closely with many business areas (Operations, Business Development, Finance, Product, etc.) to ensure we bring the best insight to each problem• Drive analysis and synthesise findings into clear recommendation for leadership and cross-functional teams to endorse• Ensure we take recommendations through to execution. We don't just stop at strategy
Basic Qualifications
• 6-8+ years of robust work experience in strategy consulting, startups, business intelligence, market intelligence, operations, or other relevant roles with a proven track record of driving strategic insights and business impact

• Critical Thinking: See and unlock new business opportunities, anticipate business trends, think deep while not losing sight of the bigger picture, and bring a data driven decision making mentality• Ambiguous problem solver: Take an ambiguous or complex business problem, resolve an approach to tackle it, and guide your team to solve the problem• Clear Communicator: You are a clear and concise communicator able to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the key takeaways, and generate concrete insights.• Self-starter demeanor: Being able to operate your team autonomously, propose new ideas, drive the thinking, drive the "so what" and solve ambiguous problems will make you much more effective in this role• 80/20 attitude: The ability to balance strong attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well. Balancing those can be challenging, and this should be a strength.• Standout Colleague: The ability to work with remote teams and across time zones to develop strategies and foster a cohesive and creative work environment
