Wish is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to manage relationships with suppliers across the globe, with a particular focus in China. 

You will setup communication channels and manage identification, negotiation, segmentation and acquisition of products from a myriad of geos and monitor performance and adjust strategy as required. Using your experience, contacts and creativity, you will explore the supply chain to identify areas for improvement.

What You'll Do

• Work with data science and logistics team to identify optimal circumstances for sourcing, purchasing and delivering products employing various strategies 
• Work directly with a variety of manufacturers and merchants across a variety of geos and product verticals identifying those most likely to lead to successful unit economics and scaling
• Negotiate pricing and contracts 
• Work with BD teams in China, US and the EU and employ personal rolodex of contacts to identify optimal opportunities
• Suggest and employ innovative sourcing and logistics techniques facilitating business across numerous geos
• Adhoc support for other on-demand projects in a fast paced startup environment

Who You Are:

• At least 5+ years of supply chain operations experience
• Fluent in Mandarin, can communicate effectively, speak and write
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or Economics
• Significant experience in negotiating pricing and contracts 
• Understanding of eCommerce shipping, cross-border shipping requirements
• Familiar with warehousing in an eCommerce environment, especially cross-border eCommerce
• Track record in planning, execution and delivery of projects
• Understanding of INCOTERMS and familiarity with customs, tax, and duty requirements for international shipping
• Ability to travel occasionally, strong experience with supplier performance management and reporting in working with performance metrics, performance scorecards and supplier review
• Ability to drive change with a long term perspective across multiple functions and transform the business.
• Ability to cope with a fast-paced and changing environment.

• Excellent written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills, including an ability to effectively communicate across all levels of an organization, technical and non-technical audience
