Worldwide Software Acceleration Leader
The WW Software Acceleration Sales Leader for Meraki will spend an even amount of time between sales and operations teams driving Meraki’s recurring offer and enterprise agreement business.. The role will include regular customer and partner facing opportunity and presentation to small and large groups. Cisco Meraki expects its Software and Enterprise Licensing business to grow very rapidly over next three years, so this individual will help define strategy and provide recommendations on how we can scale this business to be a multi-billion dollar global business.
Areas Of Responsibility
⁃ Lead a team to help drive software sales acceleration and provide global operational support for EA/WPA transactions and deal reviews.
- Manage recurring offer (RO) and enterprise agreement (EA) Forecast for the WW sales theaters (AMER, EMEAR, APJC) and respective segments within each theater and review with the Meraki WW Sales leadership.
⁃ Drive and support Planning and Quarterly Review Process of the Cisco Software buying programs
⁃ Collaborate with the theater software leaders within Cisco to identify Acceleration and Enablement requirements in the field
⁃ Drive Business acceleration initiatives aimed at scaling the Enterprise Agreement and Whole Portfolio Agreement business by theater to drive overall software bookings
⁃ Supporting Sales Specialist for strategic and complex EA opportunities across the all sales regions
⁃ Collaboration with broad stakeholders including worldwide team, offer creation team as well of our Architecture Business Leaders
⁃ Align with the business units on the opportunities and challenges with regards to the cross-architectural EA and WPA construct.
⁃ Work internally with legal and finance to support the deal assurance process for Enterprise Agreements and Whole Portfolio Agreements business.
Preferred Candidate Qualification Profile
- Software Sales Success: Demonstrated successes in consultative / Influence sales of complex, high-value opportunities; experience with SW sales and -aaS sales
- Experienced Team Leader: Ability to lead a high-performance team in a dynamic environment, across organizational boundaries, with high cross-functional alignment and influence
- Familiarity of Cisco’s and Meraki’sHW/SW/Services portfolio
- Experience optimizing software sales buying program processes
- Proven ability to sell new parts of their portfolio and/or using new styles of business models to help close business.
- Self-starter, able to work remotely and operate against deadlines
- Problem solver, capable of demonstrating sound judgment when managing ambiguity.
- Bring simplicity to, and cope with, complex environments.
- Team orientated, enlisting and lead virtual teams across functional, hierarchy and cultural boundaries
- Numerate: Comfortable organizing, interpreting and presenting data
- Ability to sell a concept to internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills in building consensus with people at all levels
- Ability to predict risk areas within a sale and create mitigation/contingency strategies- based on experience
- Be able to provide a deep dive analysis regarding recurring offer software to enable insights and key business decisions for customers
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to effectively facilitate and communicate through influence and negotiation at all levels of a customer, channel, and Cisco organizations
- Be able to communicate with a combination of strategy, product, sales, marketing, analytic and finance acumen with differing levels of technical detail
