The Role

As the Personalization & UX Manager for UGG North America, you’ll lead the vision, strategy, and execution of personalized consumer journeys on UGG.com (US/Canada). Sitting at the intersection of consumer insights, experience design, and digital commerce growth, you’ll blend data-driven personalization with exceptional UX and UI design. You’ll own the personalization roadmap and end-to-end experience design strategy, ensuring every touchpoint—from landing pages to checkout—is seamless, inspiring, and visually cohesive. You’ll manage and mentor a team of UX and UI Designers, fostering creativity, experimentation, and continuous improvement. This role partners cross-functionally with Site Merchandising, GTM, UI Development, Analytics, and Marketing teams, leveraging advanced personalization platforms and design systems. With a test-and-learn mindset, you’ll deliver high-impact digital experiences that drive discovery, conversion, and lifetime value, shaping the future of eCommerce for one of the world’s most iconic lifestyle brands.

Your Impact

  • Define, own, and execute the onsite personalization, UX, and UI design strategy for UGG North America
  • Act as a key member of the UGG NA eCommerce leadership team, influencing broader site strategy and business decisions
  • Establish a unified experience vision and design language that balances brand storytelling with conversion-focused UX
  • Build business cases to size, prioritize, and secure buy-in for personalization and UX opportunities, driving measurable revenue growth
  • Lead the design, execution, and scaling of personalization tactics, including product recommendations, tailored content, targeted offers, and custom browsing paths
  • Oversee the UX and UI design process from concept to launch, ensuring experiences are functional, accessible, and visually aligned with brand identity
  • Ideate, develop, and launch a cadence of A/B and multivariate tests that refine UX, maximize engagement, and optimize conversion across segments
  • Partner with analytics teams to establish clear KPIs and dashboards that track performance, measure impact, and surface insights
  • Translate data-driven insights into actionable improvements across site merchandising, storytelling, and content strategy
  • Partner with Marketing, CRM, and Retail teams to ensure cohesive, omnichannel consumer journeys across touchpoints
  • Manage and mentor a team of UX and UI Designers, fostering collaboration, creative excellence, and professional growth

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Commerce, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5–7 years of experience in eCommerce, digital product management, or digital marketing, with a strong focus on personalization, UX, and design
  • Proven track record of driving personalized site experiences that improved consumer engagement and conversion
  • Experience working in a B2C lifestyle or consumer brand environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of consumer journey mapping and full-funnel optimization
  • Hands-on experience with A/B testing tools, personalization platforms, and analytics suites (e.g., Dynamic Yield, GA4)
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and working alongside UI developers is a plus
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to size opportunities and translate data into clear business recommendations
  • Direct managerial leadership experience
  • Consumer-obsessed with a passion for creating experiences that delight and inspire
  • Excellent storytelling and influencing skills, with the ability to present to senior leaders and gain alignment
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative and cross-functional mindset, with experience driving alignment across diverse stakeholders
  • Known for a growth mindset, curiosity, and ability to innovate within complex organizations
  • Ability and desire to lead people

$120,000 - $130,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
