You are a creative powerhouse and a reliable team player—translating complex data and ideas into stunning visual narratives across pitch decks, proposals, marketing materials, and internal content. You balance artistic flair with brand precision, ensuring every presentation is impactful and on-message. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are driven by a passion for design excellence.

You Will:

  • Design and execute high-quality presentation decks that meet or exceed strategic and visual storytelling objectives.

  • Translate complex ideas and data into clear, engaging, and visually appealing slides.

  • Apply strong art direction and graphic design principles to enhance visual storytelling.

  • Ensure all work aligns with Critical Mass or prospective client brand guidelines with high attention to quality and consistency.

  • Collaborate closely with writers and team members to integrate key messages and visual design.

  • Stay up to date with current design trends and incorporate new techniques.

  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.

  • Iterate on feedback to continually improve visual output.

  • Contribute to other design tasks such as social posts, award entries, trend reports, and ad hoc materials.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of proven experience in presentation design with a portfolio showcasing a range of styles and strong visual storytelling.

  • Expertise in Keynote, Figma, PowerPoint, Canva, Google Slides, and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Experience collaborating with content creators and cross-functional teams to create cohesive, branded presentations.

  • Strong conceptual and creative thinking skills that push visual boundaries while maintaining brand standards.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to design quality.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating effectively and presenting creative ideas.

  • Familiarity with design applications beyond presentations is a plus (e.g., motion graphics, illustration, research reports).
