We’re looking for a Principal/Lead Software Engineer to act as a technical and strategic partner to our customers. In this role, you’ll bridge product capabilities and customer use cases, helping businesses get the most out of our platform. You’ll lead pre-sales technical conversations, design and deliver proof-of-concept implementations, and collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.
CUSTOMER
Our client is a fast-growing European SaaS company that develops a browser-based video communication platform. Their solution enables organizations to host webinars, virtual meetings, product demos, and online training directly in the browser, without requiring any downloads or installations.
PROJECT
The company’s product is used by thousands of marketing, sales, and customer success teams across the globe to run live events, demos, and webinars with seamless workflows and robust analytics. With a strong presence in the remote-first tech landscape, the team is spread across several countries and fosters a collaborative, transparent, and impact-driven culture.
The platform combines event management, live interaction tools (chat, Q&A, polls), integrations with third-party systems, and detailed analytics to deliver a seamless experience for both hosts and participants.
- Leading technical discovery sessions with prospects and customers
- Designing scalable solutions using our API, webhooks, and integrations
- Supporting the sales cycle with demos, documentation, and expert insight
- Building internal tools or prototypes that illustrate product capabilities
- Collaborating with Product and Engineering to prioritize customer needs and feature requests
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to Solutions Engineers and other customer-facing team members
- 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or similar technical customer-facing roles
- Proven experience in a Tech Lead role with strong senior-level expertise
- Strong technical knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and SaaS integrations
- Proficiency in web technologies (JavaScript, REST, GraphQL, etc.)
- Solid hands-on experience with Vue.js and TypeScript
- Experience with pre-sales engagements and collaborating with account teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
WOULD BE A PLUS
- Experience in a startup or scale-up SaaS environment
- Familiarity with automation platforms (Zapier, Make, etc.)
- Experience contributing to technical content or internal tooling
