Lead the development of Generative AI products and strategies, working with cross-functional teams to enhance business value and user experience.
Minted is leveraging Generative AI and other data-driven product capabilities to
enhance our user experience. This role will spearhead development of pilots for near term opportunities and develop a long term strategy for how to best leverage Generative AI for our business. This leader will have demonstrated experience using a variety of LLMs to power proprietary consumer use cases to drive business value.
We’re open to hiring in either San Francisco or remote. Our SF-based Product team has an in person 3x a week schedule.
You Will:
- Quickly develop a strong grasp of Minted’s core assets and capabilities by efficiently exploring our tech stack, data, user experiences, and market opportunities.
- Based on your deep understanding of Generative AI current technologies and future trends, you will outline near and long term opportunities for Minted.
- Develop user-facing pilots and productionalized experiences leveraging Generative AI
- Working with your Eng and data partners you will find ways to quickly experiment and validate using or working around our current tech stack.
- Incorporate user feedback (behavior, qual, sentiment) into the product experiences.
- Work with multiple product, functional and fulfillment partners to document these use cases including search, browse, recommendations, reporting, pricing, promotions, bundles, etc.
- Develop and propose a phased roadmap and resourcing model for executing this strategy. That resourcing model should leverage existing and new talent.
- Coordinate with other product managers, designers, merchants and stakeholders to ensure product success
- Drive product execution including project kickoffs, daily scrums, sprint planning, maintaining product specs and backlog.
- Define, monitor, and report on key success metrics for engagement and uptake of newly launched products.

You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience developing products using GenAI. Integrating with LLMs, model tuning based on user interaction, using RAG.
- 5+ years product management experience, building and shipping ecommerce or direct- to-consumer successful products and features
- 5-7 years experience in data science, ecommerce or marketplaces
- Superb analytical skills and ability to effectively use data to investigate and solve problems and make decisions
- Demonstrated an understanding of technology/architecture and effective partnership with engineering to identify technical solutions based on tradeoffs of user experience, technical debt, latency, scalability, reliability, time to market etc.
- Project management skills: Ability to plan, set expectations, make and meet commitments. Provide structure, process and project management to cross-functional teams
- Intense commitment to quality: Demonstrated focus on quality of product/customer
- Experience and testing/debugging
