This role is located in the Pacific Time Zone. You must be willing and able to work out of this time zone to qualify.
This position is not eligible for F1 and J1 students. It is not available for any work sponsorship.
Our paid internship program runs for 12 weeks between May/June 2026 - August/September 2026.
Your Future Team
Atlassian is looking for Product Design Interns to join our growing Design teams in Australia, India and the US. Join Atlassian as an intern and spend your internship having an impact on how millions of users collaborate and use software. Minimum Qualifications
  • Able to commit to a 12 week full-time (40hrs/week) program during Summer 2026
  • Currently enrolled full-time in a 4-year bachelors or 2-year masters degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the internship, graduating by June 2027
  • Please note: At this time, this role is only open to entry-level candidates with less than a year of professional experience (this does not include internships/co-ops)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with user-focused design
  • Demonstrate the ability to plan while juggling multiple simultaneous projects
  • Experience collaborating with team members, like engineers and product managers, and other designers

Compensation
We tie our base pay ranges to role and level. In the United States, that means your base pay ranges will fall into one of three geographic pay zones depending on your location.
Our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $49/hr - $55/hr
Zone B: $44/hr - $50/hr
Zone C: $41/hr - $46/hr
Within each range, base pay is ultimately determined based on your skills, expertise, and experience. However, please confirm the zone for your specific location with your recruiter.
