💻  Role

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with a strong background in payments to join our team and build platforms, money products, and financial infrastructure that make payments secure, compliant and easy to use for buyers and sellers. You have deep domain knowledge of the payments stack and are passionate about creating intuitive and efficient payment solutions. You will be responsible for all areas of the payments experience and treasury, from ideation to launch, and will work closely with cross-functional teams across the company to deliver exceptional payment experiences for our users. We are looking for someone who has a strong bias towards action, is excited to work in a domain specific problem space, and wants to build 0 → 1 solutions and systems from scratch.

  • Take responsibility for leading the company’s payments strategy.
    • Design and lead the product roadmap and strategy for these areas, balancing short and long-term goals. 
    • Engage regularly as a trusted advisor with leadership to understand their strategies, pain points, and priorities to inform product strategy, while providing transparency into roadmaps and managing expectations.
  • Roll up your sleeves to define product requirements & work with engineering, design and broader team to bring our roadmap to market at lightning speed.
  • Do whatever it takes to ensure the cross functional teams in finance, ops, tax are operating effectively, unblock them and make sure they can move at a rapid pace.
  • Analyze competitors and industry trends to advance our payments products and drive innovation.
  • Ensure all payment solutions comply with relevant regulations and security standards.

Team members in this role are required to be within commuting distance of our New York, NY, Los Angeles, CA, San Francisco, CA or Dublin, IE hubs.

As our Payments Product Manager, you should have 7+ years of Product Management experience, plus: 

  • Experience working in the payments or fintech domain, especially in an ecommerce marketplace.
  • Strong understanding of payment products, gateways, processing, and compliance standards.
  • Experience partnering with data science and working within data sets and SQL 
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, identify trade-offs, and make decisions with limited information in high-pressure situations.
  • Proven ability to develop sound research methodologies and collect, synthesize, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Experienced in design, and hypothesis driven product development.
  • Deep empathy for users and a passion for delivering outstanding user experiences.

💰Compensation

For Full-Time (Salary) US-based applicants: $205,000/year to $275,000/year + benefits + equity.
The salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills and expertise. This range is only inclusive of base salary, not benefits (more details below) or equity.
