About Zipline
Do you want to change the world? Zipline is on a mission to transform the way goods move. Our aim is to solve the world’s most urgent and complex access challenges by building, manufacturing and operating the first instant delivery and logistics system that serves all humans equally, wherever they are. From powering Rwanda’s national blood delivery network and Ghana’s COVID-19 vaccine distribution, to providing on-demand home delivery for Walmart, to enabling healthcare providers to bring care directly to U.S. homes, we are transforming the way things move for businesses, governments and consumers. The technology is complex but the idea is simple: a teleportation service that delivers what you need, when you need it. Using robotics and autonomy, we are decarbonizing delivery, decreasing road congestion, and reducing fossil fuel consumption and air pollution, while providing equitable access to billions of people and building a more resilient global supply chain.

Join Zipline and help us to make good on our promise to build an equitable and more resilient global supply chain for billions of people.
About You and The Role

We are looking for a Product Marketing Lead to define and own how Zipline’s product comes to life, internally and externally. Our product is powerful, fast-moving, and deeply technical, and this role will help ensure that its full potential is clearly articulated through a cohesive narrative, thoughtful positioning, and well-timed storytelling.

You will sit at the intersection of engineering, marketing, and leadership to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to how our product evolves and how it is experienced. While engineering owns product development, you will help shape how priorities are framed, how capabilities are bundled into compelling stories, and how progress is communicated to the world.

This is a foundational role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, sees patterns early, and can translate rapid technical progress into clear vision and impact.

What You'll Do

Define the Product Narrative

  • Establish a clear, cohesive story for Zipline’s product, including vision, value, and evolution over time.
  • Bring structure and flow to how the app, platform, and capabilities are positioned and explained.
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into simple, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.

Shape Launch Strategy and Milestones

  • Own product and feature launches end-to-end, from positioning and messaging to rollout strategy.
  • Create a strategy for bundling multiple feature improvements into meaningful, story-driven moments.
  • Ensure major milestones, including new capabilities, scale improvements, and performance gains, are recognized, communicated, and celebrated internally and externally.

Partner Deeply with Engineering

  • Work closely with engineering leadership to understand roadmaps, tradeoffs, and technical progress.
  • Help bring clarity to how roadmaps are framed and communicated, without owning product management outright.
  • Act as the connective tissue between what is being built and how it shows up in market.

Build the Product Marketing Foundation

  • Establish product marketing principles, processes, and artifacts that scale as the product matures.
  • Create core messaging frameworks, product narratives, and launch playbooks.
  • Bring discipline and intentionality to how new features, upgrades, and performance improvements are introduced.

Enable the Broader Organization

  • Equip marketing, comms, and leadership with clear, consistent product stories.
  • Influence how Zipline talks about progress, from incremental improvements such as range, payload, and weather capability to major platform moments.
  • Be a trusted voice in cross-functional discussions about what matters most and why.
What You'll Bring
  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally in highly technical, early-stage, or hardware-software environments.
  • Proven ability to create clarity and narrative in ambiguous, fast-evolving product landscapes.
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams and comfort operating without a traditional PM structure.
  • Strong storytelling instincts paired with strategic rigor.
  • Ability to zoom out to vision and zoom in to execution.
  • Comfort building from scratch, including processes, frameworks, and muscle memory.
  • A bias toward action, ownership, and momentum.
What Else You Need to Know
