Summary:
As an Associate Product Manager on an agile Product team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our analytical SaaS product that delivers mobile market data & insights. As a SaaS startup in San Francisco, it’s a big deal to hit profitability without outside funding. We’ve done just that - and we’re excited to build out a full Product Management team this year!

Reporting Structure: As an Associate Product Manager, you will be reporting to our Technical Product Manager.
What You’ll Do
- Write test plans and acceptance criteria for new products and features
- Manual testing of in-development software
- Gather requests from business team, customers and users to help build customer-focused features
- Translate feature requests into actionable requirements for the engineering team
- Run standups with product, data science, engineering and business team contributors
- Develop project plans with directly responsible engineers and ensure new features are released on time
What You Bring to the Team
- 2-5 years of work experience (technical project manager, QA tester, UI/UX designer, software engineer, and/or product analyst experience preferred)
- Familiarity with basic web development concepts like client/server, API endpoints, and HTTP methods
- Familiarity with leveraging analytical tools like Amplitude and Grafana to apply a data-driven approach to decision making
- Project management experience
- Strong interdepartmental written and oral communication skills
- Ability to write and execute thorough test plans based on product requirements and design mockups
- Experience working on a SaaS product and/or in the mobile app industry
- Great business acumen and technical understanding to deliver customer-focused features and identify new use cases for the mobile market
- Interest in building a career in product management
What We Consider a "Nice to Have"
- Scrum Master certification
- Experience working on and/or implementing an analytics product
- Experience working on a B2B big data product
- UX research experience
- Experience in mobile app development, monetization, user acquisition and/or analysis for Android or iOS apps
