Job Description
The Compliance Product Manager will work cross-functionally on strategizing, planning, and implementing compliance-related initiatives at TrueAccord. This position will be responsible for leading product efforts, including gathering requirements, overseeing the development, and measuring the impact of these efforts.
As a compliance product manager, you will work with teams of legal, engineers, data scientists, operations, product policies and various relevant internal teams to build our product features and strategies in line with compliance requirements. You will represent the product team to communicate with stakeholders to understand the requirements and user needs, and launch initiatives to address the concerns and demands.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders to define, develop, and execute the vision, roadmap, and metrics for compliance functionality
- Participate in the development, execution, and ownership of our multi-year compliance roadmap; define and track relevant business targets
- Lead the product team in efforts to deeply understand compliance requirements, clients’ needs, and consumer’s needs, and products. Translating those into innovative programs, initiatives, and feature specifications.
- Own delivery of product initiatives bridging technical and business requirements from end to end, collaborating with Engineering, Client Success, Operations, Legal, and UX teams and any partner engagements necessary for the on-time launch of the product
- Partner with engineering managers to help scope, identify trade-offs, and prioritize the implementation of initiatives.
- Clearly communicate goals, scope, status, and risks to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years as Product Manager
- Experience working closely with engineering to own and dive deep into backlogs, manage trade-offs, confirm the definition of complete, and fully outline technical details
- Strong analytical skills and experience with building business cases, data-driven product design and decision making.
- Proven track-record in end-to-end ownership of bringing products to market and delivering results in the context of a growth stage company.
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
- Experience with highly regulated products and financial services highly desired
- B2B or B2B2C product manager experience highly desired
