About the role:

Are you a proven leader with a track record of launching successful mobile applications (iOS and Android)? Have you mentored a team of best-in-class product managers to develop innovative ideas, convince others to support the ideas and help bring them to market? As Director of Product Management for Mobile with Rally Health, you will provide hands-on leadership to Sr. Product Managers and Product Managers. In this role, you will lead multiple mobile teams and drive the product expansion, strategy, and roadmap as we expand Rally’s mobile offerings to help consumers more effectively navigate the healthcare system. You should bring strong management and product oriented thinking combined with communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Product Managers, Chief Creative Officer, and other product leaders to identify business opportunities for mobile and drive the overall product strategy, expansion and roadmap
  • Ability to effectively communicate strategy to executive and key stakeholder teams and execute on that strategy with clear success metrics.
  • Strong understanding of mobile industry trends, technologies, competitors, and market offerings.
  • Build partnerships across engineering, marketing, finance, design, program management, legal, and other internal teams to ensure roadmap strategy is clear and teams are aligned.
  • Establish and analyze key metrics of user behavior to help inform product decisions.
  • Create and drive a strong product culture which understands the importance of continuous and rapid testing and learning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, M.B.A. nice-to-have, as is a focus in Computer Science and/or Engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a consumer facing, software product management role
  • 5+ years of experience managing several direct reports
  • An understanding of healthcare preferred
  • Proven track record of successfully leading the strategy, technical development, and launch of mobile applications on both iOS and Android
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired as is bringing customer oriented products to market
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills
  • High attention to detail including ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases that can be clearly and easily communicated
  • Proven ability to use data and metrics to back up hypothesis and develop business cases that can be clearly and easily be communicated to internal and external stakeholders.
