We're looking for a Director of Product Management to focus on key areas of our business to help deliver a product that is essential to our renters and property managers. Zumper is a product and a design-led company that believes in the power of bringing simplicity and efficiency to the renting process.

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with our Head of Product, COO, and CTO to ensure we’re developing a streamlined digital renter experience.
  • Create strategic plans, goals, and initiatives for our consumer experience which integrate into our various property categories (landlord, brokerage, and multifamily).
  • Work with the design/engineering/product teams to develop and launch products with efficiency.
  • Define and execute on user testing and research to get inside our renter’s heads to get our product closer to the ideal renting process.
  • Develop market and competitive expertise to advise internal development priorities and ensuring we’re best in class.
  • Work with sales, marketing, services, and customer success to ensure that revenue and customer satisfaction targets are achieved.
  • Experience transforming product strategy into well-articulated business requirements, as well as using qualitative and quantitative data effectively to inform product direction and prioritization.

Who You Are

  • You have 8+ years of product management experience (ideally marketplaces)
  • Able to define and understand conversion funnels, retention, A/B testing, and go-to-market strategies
  • Proficient at developing products, technologies, and platforms with significant user traction
  • Can demonstrate past success defining and shipping amazing products in an iterative manner, with a hands-on willingness to do whatever it takes from an execution perspective
  • Have a strong attention to detail, organizational skills and knowledge of Agile and project management methodologies 
  • Able to communicate effectively to influence teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve results
  • Passionate about building great experiences and advocating for the user while understanding the complexity of building and delivering high-quality consumer applications in a fast-paced, interactive and demanding environment.
  • Ideally hold an undergraduate degree in a technical domain from a top university
  • Passionate about solving the stressful process of finding a new home.
