About Your Role: 

As the Director of Product for Supply Chain at Sendoso you own the product roadmap and strategy to ensure the customers have the best fulfillment experience . You will obsess about implementing best warehouse and inventory management practises. You will use data and market intel to drive decisions. You will manage a team of 3 products managers each focused on a separate area of supply chain.

Your Typical Day:

  • Responsible for building and evolving the supply chain experience to maximize efficiency, transparency and accuracy.
  • Create and communicate a compelling vision for your portfolio of features.
  • Work with your product managers to ensure you define the roadmap, break down the work into a well-prioritized plan, and execute.
  • Assess opportunity, project feasibility, approach, and scope.
  • Drive project through to completion, providing detailed progress metrics during build and thorough insightful analysis of results post-launch.
  • Analyze market and trends to inform new recommendations.
  • Manage a team of Product Managers, ensuring they have clear goals and responsibilities. Provide guidance to help them excel, and constructive feedback where necessary. Build a work environment that draws people to the team.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in product management, with 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Experience within a start-up environment and supply chain preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build scale a SaaS platform and developing and bringing to market new software products
  • Creativity and knowledge in all areas of UX and product management including the ability to conceptualize, develop and implement innovative features and solutions
  • Strong sense of ownership and track record of quality work
  • Consistent track record of developing products with best-in-class customer experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong project management skills, and willingness/ability to own key parts of the product, end-to-end
