Group Product Manager, Internal Tools

The internal tools team is responsible for enabling and building innovative mission critical tools for stakeholders at Coinbase. As part of this role you will be focused on building a flexible, extensible tools platform which helps rapidly develop & customize workflows for security, customer service, compliance and others. A core area of focus would also be to build a next-gen admin tool that is mission critical for Coinbase products and services. We are looking for driven, self motivated, Group Product Manager who thrives in a fast paced startup environment, comfortable dealing with ambiguity, is able to think through complex challenges, align cross functional teams effectively to launch products. Having knowledge & experience in building customer tools products is definitely a value add for this role.
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
- In this role you will define & build new tools and workflows for Admin, Security, Customer Experience and Compliance.
- Work with you Design and Engineering counterparts to build & launch productive tools.
- Help prioritize the roadmap for the internal tools platform.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and teams to help influence & drive successful outcomes.
- Ability to challenge existing stats quo and push for new, effective & scalable platform solutions.
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
- Minimum of 7 + years of experience with expertise in building scalable tools platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree, MS/MBA preferred.
- Experience managing senior PM’s.
- Ability to focus on scalable platform solutions and business outcomes.
- Ability to build strategy, prioritize and deploy new innovative solutions with focus.
- Keen analytical skill, awareness of the latest in payments & fin-tech space.
- Value add to the team with excellent interpersonal skills.
