Analytics Manager, Growth Product Analytics
About the role
As an Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for the success of multiple workstreams within the member growth funnel; Acquisition, Activation, Conversion, Referrals, and Retention. You will act as a mentor and manager to your fellow teammates and lead the standardization of our analytical processes and project delivery methods. You’ll use data to develop insights, run experiments, and guide decision making with the goals of building products and features to delight and engage our members and driving improvements to your stakeholders’ roadmaps.
This job cannot be performed remotely in the state of Colorado.
In this role, you can expect to
- Define key metrics used to measure the success of our products and develop dashboards and ongoing reporting to surface insights and drive decision-making
- Build a deeper understanding of user behaviors and use predictive analytics and experimentation to identify the corresponding business opportunities for Chime
- Closely partner with product, engineering, marketing, research, and design to translate your data insights into features - you will have a seat at the table to drive roadmap development.
- Oversee and help to define the work of other members of the team to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality outputs
- Work with the other members of the analytics team to standardize analytical processes and evangelize those processes cross-functionally
- Lead experimentation by providing guidance on the experiments that should be run, how they should be run, and evaluating the impact on our key metrics
- Foster a data-driven, test-and-learn culture with your passion for telling stories with data
To thrive in this role, you have
- A quantitative degree in a field like Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research or Engineering - advanced degrees preferred
- 7+ years in analytics - B2C product analytics and FinTech experience preferred
- 2+ years direct or indirect management experience overseeing the work of 2-4 team members
- Advanced your SQL skills - familiarity with window functions and query optimization
- A high level of comfort delivering reporting and insights within a data visualization platform (eg Looker, Tableau)
- Experience in building metric frameworks to understand user behaviors
- Experience with a scripting language like Python or R
- A proven ability to use experimentation and statistical/predictive analysis to guide decision making
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, a record of working cross-functionally to achieve results
