Manager, Product Operations - Digital Health (Multiple Locations)

We are seeking an experienced candidate to lead our Product Operations team that supports our Digital Health studies. As a Product Operations Manager you will lead product operations team members who are responsible for coordinating product and study launches, establishing feedback loops, and creating processes and tools that allow us to scale. This candidate will drive operational excellence between Product and our cross functional teams. You’ll also support Product Managers to make high-quality, data-advised decisions, as well as scale product knowledge throughout the organization. You will focus on developing careers, setting vision and ambitious goals, setting and measuring metrics fostering a collaborative environment, sharing best practices, providing hands-on coaching and mentorship for your reports, and hiring. The ideal candidate will be able to balance the strategic and operational components of their day-to-day within a fast-paced highly fluid environment. They are structured, data-driven problem solver, and able to dive into the details to get things done.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set goals, prioritize high-impact initiatives, lead, develop and retain a team of product operations associates & specialists who support our Digital Health platforms
- Coach and empower the team members to solve challenging problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, Program Management, Clinical/Quality, and Sales to help improve operational workflows that allow us to scale and deliver high quality products on time that our customers value
- Establish and maintain best practices, tools, templates, and venues to monitor and track product metrics
- Support team’s ability to drive high quality and timely execution of high impact programs/studies
- Develop relationships with and maintain regular communications with key internal stakeholders and key external partners to ensure their needs are being met and the Product Organization enables their success
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
- Undergraduate university degree
- 5+ years of professional work experience preferably in product operations or product management or an operational role where you worked closely with product and engineering teams
- 2+ years of direct people management experience
- Relentlessly positive attitude
- A can-do attitude and ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience with project management & software development tools (i.e. Jira, etc)
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively with and coordinate multiple teams; reacts professionally under pressure
- Ability to dive into the technical details of the product to help solve problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of building high performing teams that deliver value
- Highly motivated self-starter with a desire to grow and learn
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Pharma Development or Med Tech
- Experience with regulatory needs and SDLC
- Prior experience working on global projects, or in an international setting
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g. Snowflake, StreamSets; Apache Spark; AWS products such as S3, EMR, Kinesis), data integration methods (e.g. sFTP, APIs), and analytics tools (e.g. R, SQL, Jupyter Notebooks)
