The Role
We are looking for a data-loving and curious Product Data Scientist to scale our Data function at Digit. You will partner with Product Managers, helping guide product strategy through insightful analysis. This role reports directly to the Head of Data, and is based in San Francisco, CA.

What You’ll Do

  • Help grow and scale new product features with data insights
  • Analyze user behavior and product usage to proactively identify opportunities for product improvements
  • Design experiments to validate or disprove hypotheses
  • Develop tools to empower quick data access & self-service for colleagues across functions
  • Partner with Data Engineering teams to develop reporting infrastructure to continue delivering insights quickly as Digit grows

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of experience in an analytics or product data science role in a technology company, investment banking, or consulting.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with SQL and data visualization
  • Ability to develop quantitative analysis, ad-hoc reports, and models to derive meaning from raw data in order to influence product decisions and direction
  • Understanding of statistical principles (eg. statistical significance)
  • Strong communications skills and ability to present work to executive staff
