Mission:

The Product team is on a mission to empower our customers and individuals with accurate, highly usable data quickly and reliably. Our products are low-configuration by design, and everything we do is aimed at helping our customers avoid the unnecessary complexity found in our industry. We are looking for a bright and empathetic Product Designer to come help shape the future of data-backed decision-making.

As a Product Designer at Fivetran, you:

• Learn from customers and test your ideas before building 
• Choose and apply the tools and techniques suited to each job such as sketching, prototyping and usability testing
• Work with other designers to contribute towards and raise the quality of our product design system
• Advocate design principles and processes with peers and stakeholders
• Work through solutions with your team and stay connected with them throughout the process
• Partner with product managers to create feature roadmaps that help the team focus and execute
• Work with engineers to build, iterate on, and ship concepts

Requirement:

• 2-3 years experience designing software products and a passion for the craft
• You’re disciplined, creative, can tell a good story, and have a desire to create
• Experience designing data-heavy products for non-technical audiences is preferred
• Experience solving usability problems 
• Experience designing refined, high-fidelity mockups using tools such as Figma and Sketch
• Can think about both the details of the solution and the big picture 
• You’ve shipped products and experienced their impact
• You have great writing & communication skills
