What we are looking for:
- Experience and desire to work on high-impact, 0-to-1 initiatives
- Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to make product decisions using data and user research (when you have it)
- Ability to make product decisions in ambiguous spaces with limited data (when you don't have much of it)
- Consistent track record of making great decisions after weighing all the factors that must be considered (experience, brand, business impact, technical impact, etc)
Responsibilities of the role:
- Define product features for new strategic product initiative for Masterclass
- Deliver on a highly impactful project in an ambitious timeline
- Help shape product strategy in partnership with lead PM, GM, Eng, UX, and others
- Sprint planning. Prioritize features and projects for upcoming & future development
- Collaborate with Eng, UX, data, performance and brand marketing, bizops, legal to execute on feature delivery
- Analyze experiment results and make launch/no-launch decisions
- Share product updates with xfn working and extended group on a regular basis
- Present product updates to leadership at product reviews
Requirements:
- 2+ years of product management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Work full-time in our San Francisco office
- Eligible to work in the United States legally
- Experience working on a consumer-facing product
- Knowledge and passion for education, online experiences, and brand growth
