Responsibilities

  • Drive the strategy and execution for product, business, and partnerships for how Blend expands into Credit Card originations, where the customer, consumer, and business model inevitably differ from our home lending businesses
  • Craft and evangelize the vision and roadmap for your area, relentlessly validating it with prospects to ensure we’re building a valuable and viable product
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development to identify the appropriate go-to-market and partnership strategies at each stage of the product lifecycle
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to ship and iterate for maximum impact and quick learning (including crafting strategies and specs, driving alignment and reviews, managing in-flight work, and understanding and sharing outcomes)
  • Build cross-functional relationships and handle complex projects across internal and external teams, including strong partnerships with customers

Requirements

  • 3+years experience building extraordinary software as a Product Manager
  • Excellent written and verbal reasoning and communication skills, with an added emphasis on external customer communications
  • The ability to make decisions in the face of uncertainty and with incomplete information, and an eagerness to learn from the outcomes
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather data, both qualitative and quantitative, emerge with insights, and make and communicate well-reasoned decisions
  • Technical fluency that enables you to creatively explore possibilities and challenge constraints with engineering, with demonstrated ability to earn the respect of talented engineers
  • A desire to move fast and act with confident humility

Nice to Haves

  • Experience launching new products and/or growing products beyond a pilot phase
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales and Marketing
