Role
Credit bureaus play a critical role in Americans lives, helping businesses determine the access to and price of loans, insurance, housing and jobs. As part of our dedication to helping our members lead healthy financial lives, we want to help our members understand and build their credit.
We’re looking for a Product Manager who wants to connect our members to their credit. Working with the Credit team at Chime, you'll build features and services that help members understand what their credit is, and build products that help our members take action to improve their credit. You bring deep empathy but can effectively prioritize with limited resources. You have a growth mindset and want to be challenged. You have a high bar and want to be a difference-maker in the organization. You’ll bring a sense of urgency that matches the incredible opportunity we have ahead of us.
Responsibilities
- Take member problems and lead your team in breaking them down into actionable features and experiment backlogs.
- Write clear product requirements and experiments briefs that bring all collaborators together
- Prioritize problems and unblock the team from accomplishing their goals
- Ship minimum-loveable-features that deliver a quality customer experience
- Rapidly iterate on services using customer feedback
- Determine KPIs and deliver measurable impact every month
- Partner with analytics and user research to perform quantitative and qualitative research to identify product opportunities and prioritize your roadmap
- Partner with compliance, engineering, design, QA to build software collaboratively and inclusively
About you
- 2+ years experience as a product manager
- An owner’s mindset - you don’t shy away from the hard stuff
- Passion for our mission: helping members lead healthy financial lives
- Strong collaboration in team environments but able to act quickly as the decision-maker
- Strong analytical skills, competence in SQL, and experience with tools for doing data analysis
- Prior fintech experience a plus
