As the Product Manager for the Data team, you will be responsible for our Data Science strategy, creating product features, models and tools that enable us and our customers to make better business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and other Product Managers across the organization. 

Responsibilities

• Own the data and underwriting strategy and roadmap working closely with stakeholders across the organization
• Build a deep understanding of how Brex can better leverage data to create more value for customers and the business
• Define new data products and initiatives (e.g. new models for risk, insights for customers) by working closely with engineering, design, data and operations to launch them
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team including Engineering, Data Science, Data Platform and risk and partner with other Product Managers
• Set clear goals and metrics for the team as well as new products and features and be held accountable to achieving them

What We Value

• Experience building products and tools that rely heavily on complex data sets (e.g. experimentation, risk management, personalization/recommendation systems) 
• Passionate about creating highly impactful insights for both internal and external customers using data
• Worked closely with with Data Science, Data Platform and Engineering teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for detailed articulations of problems we face as a business and how to solve them.
• Previous experience as a data scientist, data analyst or risk analyst preferred
