The Role
Afterpay is looking for a Product Manager, Growth and Marketing Technology at Afterpay. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who has demonstrated expertise and has been part of a digital marketing transformation initiative across data, analytics, attribution, targeting and integration with 3rd party analytics, crm and marketing partners. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to build our marketing technology platform from the ground up and make a direct, tangible impact on Afterpay’s growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement a hybrid build/buy strategy to centralize afterpay’s marketing tech stack to drive customer acquisition, activation and retention.
• Collaborate with marketing, engineering, data science and analytics teams to constantly innovate and improve marketing efficiency with continuous innovation and march towards our North Star metrics.
• You will drive the technology strategy, roadmap, and execution of one or more key components of our marketing tech stack
• Achieve audience growth while keeping a keen eye towards levers that will enrich Identity, Personalization, Marketing, Advertising/Media with great consumer experience
• Transform build/buy/recommend a technology stack that orchestrates consumer engagement journeys
• You will work on the Martech stack to maximize audience growth and registrations while not compromising on user experience
• Partner with Engineering leads on operationalizing the marketing technology vision
• Work with sales and BD to define co-marketing opportunities with our partners; help make customer-friendly marketing services part of our value proposition to merchant partners
• Define A/B testing programs to optimize landing pages and other critical ROI drivers
• Write great user stories, epics and acceptance criteria to guide development teams
• Create and manage product roadmaps and backlog. Work with dev leads on planning and sprint process
Qualifications
• BS or BA (Computer Science or related preferred), MBA or advanced degree helpful
• 5+ years of experience in the area of Digital Marketing tech, with 3+ years’ experience in a Consumer driven B2C environment
• Intimately familiar with one of these Martech stacks and have worked on either Adobe, Salesforce, Oracle or other marketing stack
• Subject matter expert digital media analytics, ROAS optimization, conversion rate optimization, retention optimization, search engine optimization (SEO) A/B & multivariate testing, etc.
• Experience with analytics tools and disciplines (web, social, mobile, sentiment, paid media, SEO, SEM, multivariate Organizationeling, segmentation, quantitative methods, crm, and digital data
• Ability to lead your own projects and work independently once given a direction
• A deep interest in the latest developments, industry trends, and best practices for digital marketing, analytics and Marketing technology tools.
• Excellent communication skills - ability to make complex technology concepts understandable to broader teams
• Experience leading and working with geographically dispersed teams a plus
