Job Description

The Wish Local growth team is continuously trying to increase product assortment and improve store network. We’re looking for a Product Manager to drive the strategy and implementation of many large-scale, cross-functional growth initiatives. Whether it be optimizing awareness of our features and incentives, building trust within the signup flow, or improving new seller onboarding & education, you will have the opportunity to impact our business on a global scale. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership and building features at all levels of the stack. 

In this role, you will lead the store Acquisition team ensuring the best stores and sellers are added to our network. You have a strategic and analytical approach, to understand, advocate and articulate why a store or location is ideal for acquisition and approval. You will partner with cross-functional teams to understand the market and propose the best partners for our growing network. You will manage relationships with the best partner chains across the world, representing the Wish Local program and evangelizing our program among the seller community. You have flexibility in relationship building and a good understanding of omnichannel business models. 

What you'll be doing:

  • The role will focus on user growth but also will make deep contributions to improve the user experience, onboarding, customer success, and engagement. The individual must apply creativity and analysis in building tests, defining metrics, drawing insights and recommending investments.

  • Be bold! Create new experiences that fundamentally transform how users discover, onboard, and become part of the Wish network. 

  • Be scrappy - launch MVPs and iterate quickly based on learnings

  • Define and execute a growth strategy for the business with focus on launch and expansion of initiatives in new markets.

  • Develop the frameworks, infrastructure, methodology, metrics, tools, and plans to execute effective and insightful growth initiatives across the marketing funnel, through different channels, user segments and product verticals.

  • Through continual experimentation and insights, define ‘playbook’ strategies to launch new markets, scale existing markets that optimizes key metrics (e.g., CAC, Churn, LTV).

  • Optimize mix of marketing investment across referrals, SEM, SEO, social media, email, mobile, display, Facebook ads, product marketing, app store optimization, etc.

  • Define and analyze key success metrics that measure the value and success of your product

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher 

  • 3+ years of experience in product management 

  • 2+ years of experience in growth product management 

  • Track record of launching products at scale with a demonstrable positive impact to the business

  • Experience running A/B tests, evaluating results, and leading post-launch optimizations 

  • Strong quantitative analysis skills and a data-driven approach to problem solving

  • Not afraid to roll up your sleeves to analyze data hands-on in SQL

  • Solution oriented, highly-motivated and proactive self-starter 

  • Positive can-do attitude towards tackling problems, doing what’s necessary to get the job done

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience at an e-commerce or digital marketplace company

  • Experience in growth and user acquisition
