ABOUT THE PARTNERSHIP AND LOYALTY TEAM

The Partnerships & Loyalty team is an important contributor to customer and revenue growth. The team is responsible for 3 areas. 1) Build a marketplace that offers products and services compelling to Varo’s existing customers, generating cross-sell revenue and increased customer engagement. 2) Build and manage a merchant cashback program to drive customer engagement, share of wallet and revenue. 3) Drive customer growth by partnering with companies that can offer Varo to their customer base. 


The partnerships & Loyalty team is central to Varo’s vision of helping customers across all touch points with money, beyond the provision of traditional banking products. The team has built a cross sell platform (Varo offers) and plans to evolve this product into a core part of its value proposition.


ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be responsible for continuing to evolve our marketplace and offer platform. Varo is in a unique position to generate ecommerce cross-sell revenue due to its high touch customer relationships and deep insights into its customers’ financial life. 


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own and shape the roadmap for Varo Offers as well as build new products adjacent to banking and lending, and influence Executive stakeholders to buy-in to your vision
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, data science, marketing, finance and risk to design and build solutions to help solve our customer problems and drive revenue for Varo
  • Manage product launches with stakeholders across the business to ensure your features land seamlessly with customers and colleagues 
  • Manage the P&L and overall performance for your features, ensuring that your product meets the targets that you set
  • Get involved with industry meet-ups and associations to stay on top of new trends and best practices.
  • Roll up your sleeps to remove barriers and obstacles hindering the team's ability to ship.

  • Track record of delivering solutions to customer problems with tangible impact to customer’s lives and to company profitability.
  • Strong execution capability and ability to drive work to completion with high quality deliverables.
  • Sound business acumen and commercial instincts.
  • Ability to influence and communicate with stakeholders of all backgrounds and levels.
  • Analytical mindset and a commitment to data driven decisions.
  • Detailed-oriented with great organizational skills
  • You have 5+ years of experience as a product manager in a fintech, tech or associated field
