Product Manager, Media Delivery and Infrastructure
We’re looking for a Product Manager to join Snap Inc! As a member of our Media Delivery and Infrastructure team, you’ll develop the roadmap for Snap’s infrastructure platforms that power customer facing features, with an emphasis on media delivery, video transcoding, and networking. Working from our Los Angeles or San Francisco office, you will identify trends in data, plan short and long term roadmaps, and orchestrate wide-scale product implementation and rollout.
What you'll do:
Optimize end to end delivery of customer’s media, including uploading from their mobile device to transcoding and our CDN integration
Define goals for media delivery infrastructure (e.g. latency, reliability, and cost) and drive roadmaps to improve them and make the right tradeoffs for the business
Collaborate with many feature teams at Snap to ensure our infrastructure platforms are valuable and efficient for these teams to integrate with and build upon
Develop and prioritize new strategies, product initiatives, and programs
Create and manage a feature backlog and drive roadmap planning
Work with Engineering and Product teams to build, test, and ship product experiments
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of product management experience at a technology company
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in a technical product management role
Experience performing product-oriented quantitative analysis
Ability to execute against defined objectives both tactically and strategically
A team player who can collaborate with engineers, designers, and other cross-functional teams
Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
Ability to communicate results clearly and effectively
A seasoned strategist and product-minded thinker
