The role:

Sojern is looking for a seasoned, customer-oriented product manager to power the growth of our Metasearch strategy & offering. Your work will be central to just about everything related to Metasearch as a core Sojern offering, and you will be a key driver for product, go-to-market, and corporate strategy to shape the future of Metasearch at Sojern. You should be comfortable working with data scientists to improve program performance and have the technology background to be able to resolve technical issues and develop the backend to support Metasearch as a channel. 

Responsibilities:

• Own and drive the vision and growth strategy for Metasearch solution for SMB customers

• Lead the charge to further build out an end-to-end product solution and lead execution of platform integration and campaign management at scale

• The product manager will work very closely with other product managers, sales, product marketing and an engineering team that is globally distributed.

• Define product roadmap, success metrics and set expectations with all relevant stakeholders including engineering and leadership teams 

• Contribute to product, go-to-market, and corporate strategy to shape the future of Sojern’s SMB solutions

• Coordinating with other PMs, operations and engineering leaders to help bring your product to life within a globally-distributed product and engineering organization.

• Shipping meaningful features that drive growth and performance and defining success metrics therein.

• Work with Product Marketing to advocate and educate internal teams regarding new product features

• Partnering closely with engineering to prioritize backlogs, manage sprints, and deliver product features in an agile environment.

• Interfacing directly with commercial teams: GMs, sales leaders, account managers, partner managers to collaborate on potential solutions and gather feedback for new solutions and features.

• Occasional domestic and international travel

What you bring to the table:

• 4+ years of relevant product management experience and building products from concept through to launch

• Experience in Adtech, Metasearch {ARI Feeds, Booking Engines, Rate Parity should be familiar terms to you) or AdWords

• A strong technical acumen, bonus points for engineering background or experience managing rates & availability feeds.

• Data-driven and results-oriented

• Able to ruthlessly prioritize your backlog in the midst of rapid change and competing priorities

• Self-motivated; exhibiting strong self-management and a sense of urgency in an often ambiguous environment

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Strong preference given for computer science (CS) or business undergraduate degrees (BS, BBA). An MBA is also highly desirable
